And unfortunately, for me, having to look at the material with an eye to producing it as a movie took much of the joy out of the reading. But I worked in my pajamas most days, so that was good! I've watched them grow frustrated over the years for the same reasons you mention...plus the negative help that they receive from parents of some of their students. In fact, my son-in-law is going to leave teaching in June after 15 years in the classroom. He's going to work for a company as an in-house instructor and seems very excited about the change.
